This was the scene Tuesday morning in Amsterdam where a state trooper was critically injured Monday night when his cruiser was hit by a tractor trailer. The tractor trailer came to rest on top of this vehicle. The trooper and the driver of the other car were both taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital. State Police said the trooper was listed in serious condition but no information was available about the other driver.
